The Glory Challenge

“Disturbing. Inspiring. Gut-wrenching. Faith-restoring. Anxiety-provoking.

The news and social media posts from Ukraine and neighboring countries are all of the above, and more.

And that has many people feeling distressed, even from thousands of miles away.

Seeing everyday people experience sudden upheaval in Ukraine could also be the prompt you need to take action… If you have the means to give even a few dollars, this is a good time to consider donating to support those who are working on the ground in Ukraine and neighboring countries to feed, house and provide medical care for those fleeing conflict, including people from other countries who were living in Ukraine, who have now also become refugees feeling the violence.” — Michigan Health, article

The Ukrainian Embassy in USA, ultra-marathoner Mike Wardian, and Old Dominion Racing have joined together to give you an outlet to support the Ukrainian Humanitarian Crisis via the World Central Kitchen. Run/bike across Ukraine in this virtual challenge - "start" at Lviv and watch as your team goes across the nation and virtually finishes up in Kharkiv’s Freedom Square. Just over 600 miles, so be sure to add teammates in order to get to the end of the route faster. The Glory Challenge is a special event of the Mike Wardian Challenge Series.

Old Dominion Racing is using the state-of-the-art Racing Web App raceIOT to track your progress. Do the challenge concurrently with your training. RacIOT.io allows you to connect your GPS Watch (Garmin, Fitbit, STRAVA, or Polar). So just connect and be active, and we will take care of the rest! You will be able to use the raceIOT app the day after you register. We port new registrations daily.

All you need is a device and 20 seconds to connect your account to raceIOT and then Let The Data Flow. You're thinking that’s nice, but I don’t want to have to manually put in my historic data. Well, we’ve got you covered! We can pull your history (for Garmin, Strava, and Fitbit) for as far back as you need. That’s more time racing, less time inputting at a computer screen. But we do allow you to manually put your data in, if you still want to go that route…
